3. Questions & Answers
Take a listen to the youtube video above for the entire radio interview. Just to mention it is actually also a podcast. Below are only the questions asked if you just want to get to the meat of it. The answers are paraphrased, but it is more articulate in the radio interview. Hope you enjoy!
Q1. Tell us about ReturnClient and how it came about?
A. That is actually an interesting story. I have several companies I am involved with. One is an IT company called ISO Interactive. We did interesting projects for clients and supported other Atlanta agencies. So projects like Coca-Cola site, Xbox mobile apps, games, Virtual Worlds and all sorts of startup Apps.
Atlanta is a bit different for particular types of IT projects. Lots of our work came by supporting agencies. Now in Atlanta there trends that have shifted where you have very small local businesses with no budgets and very large companies that actually higher and build their own teams. This cuts out a lot of ability for the agencies to do work.
So we had to get creative in order to build a business and reach out of our comfort zone. We created a way to do just that by building a team to reach out properly and build relationships in a more streamlined manner. Basically, we converted our business meetings from 2 a week to 4 to 6 every DAY. Thus increased our business deal flow.
Q2. Where does ReturnClient produce potential clients from?
A. Clients are driven by building relationships. We help you build, target and teach you how to engage with prospects on your own increasing network.
Q3. What kind of B2B’s can use ReturnClient
A. ReturnClient is designed for B2B’s size 1 to 50 employees. Companies larger then 50 tend to have a solid system that works well for them. Type of B2B’s range from Commercial Real Estate, Consulting, Medical, Insurance, IT/Development, Marketing Agencies and many others…
The following is a quick white paper that breaks down the services.
Q4. Why use LinkedIn as a source of the B2B leads?
A. Easy, LinkedIn has over 580 million working professionals and majority of them are B2B. They also have 40% of them active daily. Making it the largest social selling platform of the planet. And the most underutilized one as well. Here is a white paper on LinkedIn for business below. Check it out. It is free…

Q5. What do you want to be aware of when networking on LinkedIn?
A. LinkedIn is a business. Their goal is to sell you services. So they do not like automated plugins and people that arbitrarily break their rules. So if you are going to start using your account to truly network and build a business, best to get LinkedIn Navigator. It is a paid service that allows you to better target your audience. And they continually look for plugins and that sort of thing and may block your account if you use them.
LinkedIn is a business
So there are a lot of best practices to avoid trouble and to get the best possible results.
Q6. How much does it cost?
A. It ranges as a lot of the services are particular to the client’s needs. But you have an entire team of writers for your campaign, LinkedIn experts, people that can set up and help you manage your activities. So it a fractional of normal marketing costs and we have an entire team to help.
It is extremely affordable if you say, compare it to purchasing a list. Those normally cost about $3,000 a month and you have to do all the prospecting yourself. Or a consultant at $4,000 to $5,000 a month. Or even an agency that charges you $8,000 to 10k a month. That is actually a lot of money that many smaller businesses do not want to just throw away.
Q7. What makes a good candidate for ReturnClient?
A. There are 3 criteria.
First, they have to be able to identify their market in the 580+ million member LinkedIn network.
Second, they have to have a B2B service that people actually want.
Third, unless they have to respond to the daily prospects/requests within 48 business hours. People forget who you are after 48 hours. So if you can not close a deal then you need to opt to a larger ReturnClient offering.
Q8. What do clients actually get?
A. An easy daily list of people to close deals with. Monday to Friday. These are from 3 – 20 people they can concentrate on, setup meetings, close deals, etc… Simple for the client, complicated for us. lol.
