The Chamber of Chat was one of the first Virtual Words we developed for the Harry Potter community. At the time we gained over 100,000 free members, gained awards from Adobe, and SmartFoxServer, and published in a number of design and development magazines. This was a fun pro-bono project.
We did this as a pro-bono project for Harry Potter fans
It was created by Troy Hipolito and Carl Lydon.
You can hang out with other students, relax in the common room, mingle at the pub, play games like Pictionary, and even download cool-looking wallpapers.
The chat is created to be a safe place and watched over by our Moderators. You must be 13 years or older to request a membership.
Memberships are always FREE.
We even created our own system called MIMS (Multi-user Internet Management System) in combination with SmartFoxServer, Java, Flash, and MySQL to create this virtual world.
